BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, the Varanasi district court on 31st January Wednesday, permitted to perform puja at the Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, who is representing the Hindu side, informed the presspersons that the district administration has been instructed to make appropriate arrangements in seven days for Hindus to offer prayers at 'Vyas ka Tehkhana'.
On the orders of the Varanasi district court, the ASI scientific survey report conducted on the site was released publicly on 24th January. As per the report, a large Hindu temple existed on the site before the construction of the mosque.
