By A Staff Reporter: In a significant development, Rushikesh Patel, the Minister of Higher & Technical Education in Gujarat, unveiled two transformative schemes aimed at empowering students in the state. Termed as Namo Laxmi Yojana and Namo Saraswati Yojana, these initiatives are designed to support educational pursuits and nurture talent among young learners.

Under the Namo Laxmi Yojana, girl students enrolled in classes 9 to 12 will be eligible for financial assistance, with grants reaching up to Rs 50,000. This initiative is slated to commence implementation within the current academic year, underlining the government's commitment to promoting education and empowering young female scholars.

Furthermore, the Namo Saraswati Yojana seeks to ignite a passion for Science among students by offering financial aid of Rs 25,000 to all learners. The emphasis on encouraging scientific exploration and learning reflects the government's dedication to fostering curiosity and innovation among the student community in Gujarat.
