Kaithal – Former Chief Minister of Punjab and Congress leader, Charanjit Singh Channi, condemned the recent incident in Kaithal where a Sikh youth was brutally attacked. He attributed the violence to the divisive tactics employed by the BJP, accusing them of fostering an environment of hatred.

Addressing the public, Channi appealed for unity and harmony in Punjab, urging people not to succumb to internal conflicts. He vehemently refuted actress Kangana Ranaut's statement alleging the presence of Sikh Khalistanis in Punjab, emphasizing the long-standing goodwill and love shared among communities in the state.

"There has never been a fight between Hindus and Sikhs in Punjab," Channi stated, highlighting the historical coexistence and camaraderie. He called for peace and urged authorities to take swift action against those responsible for the violence.
