Focus On Poor, Women, Youth, And Farmers: FM Nirmala Sitharaman

While presenting the Interim Budget for the session 2024-25, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized that the poor, women, youth, and annadatta (farmers) are the focal points of the budget session.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: While presenting the Interim Budget for the session 2024-25, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized that the poor, women, youth, and annadatta (farmers) are the focal points of the budget session. 

She further stated that the needs and aspirations of poor people, women, youth, and farmers will be highly prioritized. Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the Interim Budget on 1st February, Thursday while addressing the joint sitting of two houses in the new parliament building in New Delhi.

The Interim Budget Session will continue till 9th February in the new Parliament building. A joint sitting of upper house and lower house of the parliament will be attending the session. Moreover, the full budget will be presented once the new government assumes the office after upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
