BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Enforcement Directorate team recovered 36 Lakhs in cash and two cars during a search operation launched at Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren's Delhi home on Tuesday 30th January.

The search operation was conducted in connection with the money laundering case in the alleged land and mining scam. However, Hemant Soren remains untraceable. Moreover, the JMM Chairperson has been skipping ED summons for the same case, alleging it is a BJP conspiracy.

According to ED, illegal stone mining activities are being carried out in Jharkhand's Sahibganj area. Further, the case involves Hemant Soren and his close officials as per reports. Moreover, he is also accused of illegally selling land belonging to the Indian Army in Ranchi.
