Due to Heat wave changes school hours in Patna

With summer temperatures rising in Bihar, mercury crossed 40 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state. The temperature in Patna reached 41.5 degrees Celsius. The Met department has issued a severe heat warning in the next few days.

BY A STAFF REPORTER:  With summer temperatures rising in Bihar, mercury crossed 40 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state.  The temperature in Patna reached 41.5 degrees Celsius. The Met department has issued a severe heat warning in the next few days.  As a result, the Patna district administration on Friday directed all school authorities in the capital to change their timings. The administration has also issued guidelines to prevent heat stroke cases among students. "All classes in all schools will remain closed after 11.45 am. The guidelines will come into effect from April 15. '
