Delhi Minister Atishi provided an update on the repair efforts following the breach of the Munak Canal. "As you are aware, day before yesterday, Munak Canal was breached after its entry into Delhi, causing nearly 15 meters of embankment damage," Atishi explained. She highlighted the prompt response from both the Haryana Irrigation Department and the Delhi Jal Board teams, who have been working tirelessly to address the issue.
"The embankment has been rebuilt, and the process of concrete-lining is underway. We are hopeful that the Dwarka water treatment plant will restart by 9-10 am tomorrow," Atishi added.
