Delhi Lt Governor Urges Immediate Action on Munak Canal Breach

Delhi: Lt Governor VK Saxena has taken serious note of the significant breach in the CLC branch of Munak Canal, advising the Chief Secretary to coordinate with Delhi's Water Minister and Flood Control Minister to ensure prompt action.

"The matter should be taken up with Haryana authorities at the appropriate level to restore, repair, and maintain the canal at the earliest," Saxena stated. He emphasized that the unlined segment of the canal should be prioritized for lining to avoid future breaches and water losses.
