Delhi High Court Denies Urgent Listing of Arvind Kejriwal's Plea

Arvind Kejriwal's Counsel sought an immediate hearing from the acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. Since urgent listing has been denied, the matter will be listed on reopening on Wednesday due to Holi Holidays.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the Delhi High Court denied urgent listing of Arvind Kejriwal's plea challenging his arrest and remand on March 23, Saturday.

Moreover, Arvind Kejriwal's Counsel sought an immediate hearing from the acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. Since urgent listing has been denied, the matter will be listed on reopening on Wednesday due to Holi Holidays. 

Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
