Delhi: French President Macron Visits Nizamuddin Dargah In Delhi

After attending the 75th Republic Day ceremony on Friday, French President Emmanuel Macron visited Delhi's Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah before flying to Paris.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: After attending the 75th Republic Day ceremony on Friday, French President Emmanuel Macron visited Delhi's Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah before flying to Paris. 

Macron visited the center hub of Sufism at around 9:45 PM and stayed there for nearly 30 minutes. The mausoleum of sufi saint Khwaja Nizamuddin  Auliya. The 700-year-old Mausoleum enshrines the tomb of Amir Khusrau, Jahannara, and Mirza Ghalib. French delegates along with their Indian counterparts also accompanied Macron

The French President attended the women-centric 75th Republic Day as the chief guest on 26th January in Delhi's Kartavya Path. Moreover, French contingents and aircraft including Rafale also participated in the ceremony.
