BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Union Minister of Information and Technology, Anurag Thakur on Wednesday accused Congress of demeaning Hinduism and standing against the Ram Mandir.
After Congress leaders' official rejection, Anurag Thakur recalled various occasions related to the Ram temple where Congress took a stand against the same. He asserted that Congress has incessantly humiliated Hinduism, they claimed Lord Ram as a 'fictional character' and demanded the reconstruction of Babri Mosque. He added that Congress along with its allies has degraded the 'Sanatan Dharma'. He further claimed that Indians will soon boycott Congress as they have boycotted Ram Temple's inauguration.
The statement comes after Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary officially turned down the invitation for the Ram Temple consecration ceremony which will be held on 22nd January in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. They further termed it as a 'BJP/RSS event'.
