Rescue teams, including the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and local authorities, are working on a war footing to evacuate those still stranded in the snow-covered terrain. The avalanche occurred approximately 6 km ahead of Badrinath Dham, a popular pilgrimage site, making the rescue efforts particularly challenging due to difficult weather conditions and rough terrain.
