By A Staff Reporter- After visiting the injured at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital in the aftermath of the Kanchanjunga Express accident, BJP MP Ananta Maharaj highlighted the importance of awareness among railway workers. Maharaj expressed regret over the incident, emphasizing that such an accident should not have occurred.

"The condition is better now. This incident should not have happened but there is a need for deliberation. I will tell the government and Railway Ministry that our railway workers need awareness," said Ananta Maharaj.

His remarks underscore the urgency of ensuring that railway workers are well-informed and adequately trained to prevent such accidents.
