Atishi to Start Indefinite Fast for Haryana Water

Delhi: Delhi Water Minister Atishi has announced an indefinite fast starting on June 21st to demand the rightful water supply from Haryana, essential for quenching the thirst of 28 lakh Delhiites. She stated, "Tomorrow from 21st June, I will sit on an indefinite fast to get the water from Haryana which is our right." The protest will commence at 11 am with a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat, followed by the fast in Bhogal Colony of Jangpura from 12 pm. Atishi emphasized the critical need for this water to address Delhi's pressing water scarcity issues and urged Haryana to fulfill its obligations.
