BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a controversial statement, Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday attacked Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for being against Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and Publicizing it.

Gandhi categorically stated that Biswa and Shah are benefiting the Yatra in terms of publicity by opposing it. He also asserted that prohibiting the yatra from entering temples and colleges are their (Himanta Biswa and Amit Shah) intimidation tactics which Gandhi doesn't find intimidating. "However, our message of Nyay(Justice) is reaching people effectively" he added. Rahul Gandhi further alleged that Padyatra of JP Nadda and Bajrang Dal are allowed entrance into the temples but not Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

This comes after Assam CM Himanta Biswa's X post announcing that he has instructed the Director General of Police (DGP Assam) to register a case against Rahul Gandhi for provoking the crowd in Assam during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
