Ferozepur, Punjab: Somya Mishra, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Ferozepur, provided a significant update on the investigation of the brutal triple murder that took place in the Kamboj Nagar area on September 3. Mishra reported that six unknown assailants had opened fire on a man named Dildeep and his companions while they were travelling in a car. The shooting left Dildeep, his sister, and one of his friends dead. Two others who were in the car, Dildeep's cousin and another friend, were seriously injured and are still undergoing treatment.
The police launched an intensive investigation, using human resources, technical inputs, and CCTV footage to identify the attackers. Mishra announced that the first arrest in the case was made on September 6, and in a coordinated effort, all six assailants were apprehended in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
The police have been working tirelessly to bring justice to the victims, with the arrests marking a crucial step in resolving the case. The investigation continues as authorities seek to uncover the full motive behind the attack and ensure legal proceedings are followed.
