By a staff reporter: The Francis Scott Key bridge collapsed after being hit by a ship in Baltimore, USA. This bridge collapsed in the Patapsco River after being hit by a cargo ship. Seven people have been missing since the incident. The rescue team went down to the river to search for them.

Incidentally, this bridge over the Patapsco River was opened in 1977. The bridge is a major hub for East Coast shipping, along with the Port of Baltimore.

According to Baltimore Fire Department Communications Director Kevin Cartwright, their goal is to rescue the missing person.

He also said that at least seven people fell into the water in this incident. However, it is not possible to say how many people have been affected. Efforts to rescue the missing are still going on. I-695 has closed all lanes for the incident. Traffic control is also being done on the spot.
