8 Naxalites Killed in Chhattisgarh Encounter, 1 Security Personnel Lost

By A Staff Reporter: In Chhattisgarh's Abujhmad, a fierce encounter between security forces and Naxalites resulted in the deaths of 8 Naxalites. IG Bastar P Sundarraj confirmed, "In an encounter between security personnel and Naxalites, 8 bodies of Naxalites have been recovered. Three of our security personnel got injured and one of them lost his life."

The incident also saw two injured security personnel airlifted to Raipur for medical treatment. Sundarraj reassured, "The other two have been airlifted to Raipur and are under treatment. Both of them are out of danger."
