75th Republic Day Parade Concludes Showcasing Women Empowerment

An all-women tri-service Contingent led by Captain Sandhya participated for the first time in the 75th Republic Day Parade. Furthermore, 265 women bikers of the Central Armed Police flaunted their bravery with a fascinating bike show.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the 75th Republic Day ceremony concluded, it featured several women-centric contingents and tableaux on 26th January in Delhi. 

Along with this, French marching and band Contingents also participated in the parade as French President Emmanuel Macron attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Moreover, an all-women tri-service Contingent led by Captain Sandhya participated for the first time in the 75th Republic Day Parade. Furthermore, 265 women bikers of the Central Armed Police flaunted their bravery with a fascinating bike show. With this, state Tableaux including Ladakh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Manipur exhibited Women's Empowerment and the role of Women in their state's development and culture. 

As the ceremony ended, President Droupadi Murmu and chief guest Emmanuel Macron were escorted towards the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The 75th Republic Day ceremony was held on 26th January on Delhi's Kartavya Path.
