Pune, Maharashtra: A total of 28 students from DY Patil School in Pimpri Chinchwad City were hospitalized today following a case of food poisoning. The incident occurred after the school served sandwiches to 350 students for breakfast. Several students started vomiting and feeling unwell shortly after consuming the food.

DCP Shivaji Pawar of Pimpri Chinchwad Police confirmed that while some of the affected students were discharged after receiving primary treatment, others remained under observation in the hospital. "All hospitalized students are in stable condition and out of danger," he assured.

The incident has raised concerns about food safety in schools, as authorities investigate the cause of the contamination.
