BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the Terrorist and Anti-disruptive Activities (TADA) Court acquitted the main accused in the 1993 Bomb-blast incident, Syed Abdul Karim Tunda in Ajmer, Rajasthan on 29th February, Thursday.

Abdul Karim Tunda was acquitted as the Central Bureau of Investigation failed to present concrete evidence against him. Moreover, his advocate, Shafqat Sultani stated that Tunda has been acquitted of all charges against him

Furthermore, Abdul Karim Tunda was the alleged mastermind behind the 1993 Mumbai Bomb-blast incident where 40 deadly bombings took place across Mumbai. Moreover, he was arrested in 2013 at the Indo-Nepal border. He was also acquitted by a Delhi Court due to insufficient evidence against him. However, the 81-year-old is serving a life sentence awarded by the court for his involvement in the 1996 Sonepat bombing.
