10/10 Budget: NSE CEO Ashish Chauhan on Interim Budget Session
Chauhan expressed that the current government has identified the winning strategy characterized by 'fiscal restraint combined with a concentration on welfare and growth' and the interim budget has adhered to this approach.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the Interim Budget Session is adjourned, Ashish Chauhan, Chief Executive Officer of the National Stock Exchange on Thursday praised the interim budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Chauhan expressed that the current government has identified the winning strategy characterized by 'fiscal restraint combined with a concentration on welfare and growth' and the interim budget has adhered to this approach. "Overall budget is 10/10" he added.
The Interim Budget Session will continue till 9th February in the new Parliament building. A joint sitting of upper house and lower house of the parliament will be attending the session. Moreover, the full budget will be presented once the new government assumes the office after upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
