Trinidad and Tobago’s Business community is calling on Government to grant an extension on the Nov 30th deadline for the submission of property tax forms.
According to the newly appointed Chairman of the Confederation of Regional Business Chambers, Vivek Charran, the time is needed as there are several details which need to be included in the forms and many business owners are unable at times to provide the information for several reasons…
He said another factor that business owners are concerned about is the $5000.00 fine attached to the forms if not submitted on time.
Mr Charran explained that given that many businesses have recently re opened; their focus at this time primarily is safety of customers as well as recovery from the PH measures, rather than forms to be filled out
