Trinamool leader shot dead in canning

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Trinamool leader shot dead in canning. The leader of the ruling party was shot dead again by the miscreants. The Trinamool leader was reportedly shot in front of his house at Nikarighata in Canning. He then died in the early hours of the morning when he was brought to The Ssc with serious injuries. The slain Trinamool leader was identified as Muharram Sheikh. The family of the deceased claimed that around 7.30pm on Saturday, 5-6 miscreants riding autos surrounded the youth Trinamool leader standing in front of the house and opened indiscriminate fire. He shot Muharram from close range. He collapsed in front of the house. Muharram Sheikh was brought to Canning Subdivision Hospital in a pool of blood. He was referred to The Ssc Medical College and Hospital as his condition deteriorated.
