Around 24 fans arrested in London after England-Scotland game

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Around two dozen people have been arrested after England's much-anticipated Euro cup match with Scotland in Wembley stadium in London. Scotland Yard said: “13 arrests were for public order offences, six for drunk and disorderly, four for assault on police, three for assault, two related to class A drugs and one each for breaching a dispersal order and breaching a banning order.”

Police said fans thronged into Leicester Square in central London after the scoreless draw at Wembley on Friday night. The Metropolitan police said 25 of the arrests were in central London while five were in the vicinity of Wembley.
