By a Staff Reporter: Chief Justice Ivor Archie on Tuesday announced that several changes and improvements are coming for this country’s justice system to ensure that citizens are not further inconvenienced in any way… As he addressed the virtual opening of the 2021/ 2022 Law term, Justice Archie said 1st on the list was the replacement of the probate division of the civil supreme court with the establishment of an Estate Administration office. Along with this Justice Archie also confirmed that the Judiciary’s civil division is also in the process of moving to the Waterfront Tower D building. He said this promises even more technologically advanced services for clients. CJ Archie further noted the back log of sexual offences cases in TT and has therefore convened a separate sexual offences court to deal with pending matters.
