4 arrested from Baranagar in online fraud case

By a Staff Reporter: On 18.06.21 at about 16:30 hrs as per secret source of information S.I Debnath Ghoshal and his PC team of Baranagar PS arrested four persons including 02 female from a rented house under Baranagar P.S.

 They were trapping the innocent persons by phone call to make falsely friendship as well as false assurance of appointment in job in lieu of money.

​

37 (thirty seven) mobile phones, 7 (seven) numbers of Credit/Debit Card, Cash Rs. 88,000/- (Eighty Eight Thousand) and 02 (two) registers note books have been recovered from their possession.

​

 All the four persons have been forwarded to court with 14 days police remand.

The gang is involved in many interstate online fraud cases.
