Blast in Barakpur on Laxmi Puja day

Explosion in Barakpur on Laxmi Puja day. Intact gas cylinder. A house in Kalia niwas area exploded around 10am. The intensity of the blast collapsed with the ceiling. 2 people were injured. They were taken to Bn Basu Subdivision Hospital in Barakpur . Municipal corporation administrator Uttam Das said the rented house contained a large quantity of chemicals. Police have detained three residents of the house. From what the blast is being investigated.
