Weather to improve in South Bengal from today

Even on the day of mother Lakshmi's worship, there is a frown of rain. Cloudy sky since morning. It has started raining at several places. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thundershowers is likely in kolkata, 224 Parganas, Hooghly, East Burdwan, Nadia, Murshidabad, Birbhum, Malda and dinajpur within a few hours. It may rain in Behar, Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar districts of North Bengal. The Alipore Meteorological Department said the depression along the Bengal and north Orissa coasts is currently over Bihar. Due to which the weather will improve in South Bengal from today. However, heavy rain in North Bengal will continue till tomorrow.
