Junior doctor brutally thrashed, 24 persons arrested in Assam

Assam police arrested 24 persons accused of thrashing a junior doctor in a Covid care facility in Hojai district. The doctor, identified as Dr Seuj Senapati was brutally beaten up by the family members of the deceased inside Odali Model hospital. The video of the incident went viral forcing the Assam chief minister Himanta BiswaSharma to order immediate arrest of the culprits.
