Without Amarinder, Congress will suffer hugely: Congress leader Amrik Singh Dhillon

Congress will suffer hugely in Punjab if Captain Amarinder Singh finally decides to leave the party, according to one of the seniormost party legislators Amrik Singh Dhillon. The 78-year-old veteran of Punjab politics claimed that Congress High Command is favouring the youth to come forward while sidestepping the old guard. ``I personally feel there should be a balance between the young and the old or the party will suffer,'' he said. Speaking exclusively to ANM News from Punjab, Dhillon maintained that he will remain a loyal soldier of Congress but was silent on whether he will jump on Captain's ship if the former chief minister decides to form his own party.
