The attack on Kapil Sibhal's residence

 BY A STAFF REPORTE

The attack on Kapil Sibhal's residence, by Congress and Youth Congress Workers is most deplorable, uncivilised, and is pure vandalism. It is totally against the Congress traditions, Ethos, Culture, History and the past. I hold no brief for Kapil Sibhal and it was better, if he would have written these thoughts in a confidential letter to Sonia Gandhi Ji. But he has not done so and used his freedom of speech, it never means, that he should be given such kind of indecent and uncivilised treatment. One is reminded of the Youth Congress vandalism and gangsterism of Sanjay Gandhi days, when it was the delight and pleasure of Sanjay Gandhi Brigade to insult and humiliate thier seniors and elders and demolish all the Noble Congress traditions down the drain. The price of thier "glorious acts" is still being paid by us, in difficult installments.

Moreover the language and the  words used by the unruly Congress mob for Kapil Sibhal ji are totally to be condemned. Kapil Sibhal is Kapil Sibhal, only on his merit and qualifications. The legal position and status he has acquired in the civil society, doesn't need a cloak of an MP or a Minister. Without being occupying these political positions, his importance and standing would not be reduced even by an inch. In several of the legal cases of partymen he appears without any charge. Otherwise, too, he comes to the rescue of many people in need, this is my personal knowledge. Such an demonstration against him and damaging his property shall always remain a black spot on the face of party organisation. I would only request the persons at the helm of affairs, in the High Command to kindly and seriously review and re-examine the matter and take exemplary and strong disciplinary action against all those responsible for it. They should be made to regret and apologize to Kapil Sibal ji, whose voice in the Rajya Sabha in the matter of CAA,NPR, NRC debate was the most powerful advocacy and defence of Indian Muslims, which had restored a lot of confidence among them.
