Sensex creates history

This is the first time that the Mumbai Stock Exchange stock index touched 60,000 points. The market opened 273 points higher at 60,158.76 on the day. The index was at 59,885 when the market closed the previous day. The BSE Sensex climbed 958 points on Thursday itself. The Sensex is still rising on Friday.
