Akshay visits a remote village along LoC, donates Rs 1 crore

They have never seen a Bollywood actor in their life. For the villagers of Neeru, in remote area along the Line of Control (LOC) in Gurez in terrorist affected Bandipur district of Kashmir, it was a dream come true and welcome surprise. Actor Akshay Kumar, accompanied by senior para military and army officials went over to meet the villagers. A moved Akshay donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of a school building in Tulail in Neeru village along the LoC.
