BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Centre-State standoff over former chief secretary Alapan Bandopadhayay continued on Tuesday. The department of personnel sent a show cause notice to Alapan Bandopadhayay asking him to reply within three days why action under disaster management act will not be taken against him for not attending a meeting with the Prime Minister. The show cause notice indicates that action under section 51 B of disaster management act.
