Hearing going on in the Supreme Court on the post poll violence West Bengal State SLP

​By a staff reporter : The state had approached the Supreme Court challenging the Calcutta High Court in the post poll violence case. The petition was filed by the government in the apex court. The petition in the state is being heard by a bench of Justices Saran and Anirudh Basu on Monday. The Calcutta High Court ordered a CBI probe into the post-poll violence. The sit was also investigating as well. The HIGH Court ordered a CBI inquiry to look into the report submitted by the National Human Rights Commission. The state government approached the Supreme Court challenging the order.
