Report says that even though the rains have subsided in South Bengal, an orange alert has been issued in North Bengal. It's cloudy all day today. The Alipore Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain in five districts of North Bengal like Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Behar and Jalpaiguri. Heavy rain accompanied by thundershowers is forecast in Malda and Dinajpur. Heavy rain will continue till Sunday in North Bengal. There may be a couple of showers including thundershowers in Kolkata as well as in South Bengal.
