The tyranny of the Mushkraj increased so much that finally all the gods came together in remembrance of Mahadev. Then by the order of Mahadev, Lord Ganesha went to Mushakraj. Mushakraj was defeated by Ganesha's Power and then Lord Ganesha appointed Mushakraj as his bahana as a rat.
