BY A STAFF REPORTER ANM News have been reporting for a long time that Rajib Banerjee is well past BJP and is just counting his days and waiting for a green signal from TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee to rejoin the party. Although Banerjee still enjoys Central Armed police protection cover, he has been avoiding BJP leadership after getting routed at Domjur assembly constituency. The former forest and irrigation minister who was till recently in the eye of Mamata storm after embankments collapsed at several places, have been pleading with TMC leadership to take him back. A vocal critic of chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Rajib realised that there is no future for him in the BJP and hence is making overtures to return.
