CBI action in Post Poll violence

Shreerupa Das :- Severe cases as referred to in the NHRC Report handed over to CBI for investigation in the matter of Post Poll violence. All other cases to be monitored by Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising a 3-member IPS officers of West Bengal cadre, including Suman Bala Sahoo, Soumen Mitra. To be under the supervision of a retired judge of the Supreme Court for which separate order would be passed.

The State Govt to hand over all documents & records to the investigating agencies. In case, State is not acting properly, it will be viewed seriously. Rashid Munir Khan issue to be dealt with separately. State to pay compensation as per policy. In case, any directions are required the investigating agencies may file applications before the Court.
