Study in Canada: Learn about housing and living costs

As a student, it's important to think about what kind of accommodation you'll have, how much travel you plan to travel and whether you'll try to find part-time work. Also, canadian cities like Montreal and Toronto are much more affordable than other big cities like New York and London. On average, students should expect to spend somewhere between $675-$875 CAD a month before the fare. If you plan to study in a city, housing in a student dormitory will usually cost an additional $550-$600 CAD. Remember that Canada has specific rules and regulations for students to work with their permission. Therefore, students should not rely on getting jobs to fund their studies.
