Also, canadian cities like Montreal and Toronto are much more affordable than other big cities like New York and London. On average, students should expect to spend somewhere between $675-$875 CAD a month before the fare. If you plan to study in a city, housing in a student dormitory will usually cost an additional $550-$600 CAD. Remember that Canada has specific rules and regulations for students to work with their permission. Therefore, students should not rely on getting jobs to fund their studies.
