After 2 months, Subhandu's close aide Rakhal Bera gets bail

Own Correspondent : Rakhal Bera, a close aide of Shri Suvendu Adhikari, Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal, was being framed and fabricated in several false cases, was arrested & kept behind bar since June 5, 2021. Several cases were registered against him before the Manicktala Police Station & Contai P.S. Justice Rajasekhar Mantha, while hearing a writ petition filed in this regard, today, was pleased to direct him to be released from custody forthwith, was further pleased to direct the State Govt to give a list of all cases pending against Mr. Rakhal Bera. Considering the facts & circumstances, the Hon’ble Court was further pleased to direct that no FIR should be registered against Mr. Rakhal Bera without first obtaining leave of the Hon’ble High Court.
