Shameful performance by Indian women hockey team, TT player Mukherjee in Tokyo Olympics

Pandemic has wreaked havoc on Indian economy. People are losing jobs and prices of fuel are at an all time high. Table tennis player Sutirtha Mukherjee, India's women hockey team and shooters put up a spineless performance at the Tokyo Olympics sparking a debate as to why they were sent to participate in the first place at such a huge cost to the exchequer. Sutirtha Mukherjee's performance in the second round was so poor that it would put a local table tennis player to shame. Indian women hockey team players had no coordination among themselves. Gurjit missed a penalty stroke but the manner in which she took the shot looked like she was on a walk down the gardens. In the first three matches the entire women hockey team looked like a ``bunch of jokers'' with no commitment and resolve to bring laurels to the country.
