Kisenhofer has a PhD in applied mathematics in 2016 from The University of Catalonia Polytechnic in Switzerland. At the same time, the 30-year-old athlete has studied at the Universities of Vienna and Cambridge. But Anna didn't go cycling at first. Instead, he played triathlon from 2011 to 2013. The Austrian star left the triathlon and focused on cycling in 2014. Anna joined the Catalan team in 2016. It's a great start there. He won silver in a tournament in France. In the meantime, his first professional signed the contract. But the deal was cancelled due to continuous bad results. Then he took a break for a year.
