However, he faced protests. Now BJP leader Agnimitra Paul targeted the TMC and CM Mamata Banerjee over the incident. She tweeted that 'Ashish Banerjee was kicked out & courtyard of the houses was washed with cow dung water by villagers of BOGTUI. But isn’t this HATRED actually for you Mamata Banerjee? 11 lives were burnt alive & leave alone COMPENSATION you didn’t give them their death certificates. Shame.'
