BY A STAFF REPORTER: BJP leader Jitendra Tiwari was produced before a court in Asansol on Sunday. However, the former Mayor of Asansol warned before entering the court. Jitendra Tiwari says, "Not the police, The people of Asansol will give an answer in the 2024 elections. Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the anticipatory bail plea tomorrow." On December 14, 2022, three people were killed in a stampede during a blanket distribution programme in Asansol. Jitendra was arrested from The Yamuna Expressway in Noida on Friday in connection with the incident.
