By a Staff Reporter: Former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has been confirmed by a divided Senate as India's ambassador. Garcetti was confirmed as India's ambassador after a 20-month struggle to first be nominated by President Joe Biden.
First He was prioritized as nominated Indian ambassador in the Senate vote on Wednesday. Garcetti was later confirmed by the Senate as India's ambassador through a vote again.
