Chinese premier exudes confidence in press conference

This morning, March 13th 2023, after the meeting of the President of the Republic of China, Mr. XI Jinping, with the leaders of the Government in Beijing, the National Economic and Social Development Plan for 2023 was confirmed. After that important meeting, there was a press conference with the newly elected Prime Minister Li Qiang.

It should be emphasized that Prime Minister Li Qiang pointed out to journalists' questions that he has committed himself to implement important decisions and plans in the work of the Government. He also emphasized that he will invest all his efforts for the benefit of all citizens, stabilizing the economy, promoting high-quality development and opening China's doors to the world and the world of the future.

In the first two months of this year, statistical indicators clearly show that the Chinese economy has stabilized and is moving towards a bright future, the Prime Minister pointed out.

In addition to verbal messages, his non-verbal communication gave an added emphasis in his interaction with journalists, which was reflected in the pitch and intonation of the spoken message and raising his finger at the right moment, which absolutely indicated his confidence and willingness to realize what he planned.
