BY A STAFF REPORTER: Maybe first time in the history of Goa, the forests of Goa have been burning for six consecutive days. This vast area of the Western Ghats is being destroyed in the worst fire of all time in the history of the state. Authorities and firefighters are trying their best to bring the fire under control. Goa Minister Vishwajit Rane tweeted, that, "Learnt from the Prime Minister's Office that the Ministry of Defence will extend full support and the PMO will closely monitor the situation. We are sending all the information to the Prime Minister's Office every day about the situation of the fire." Meanwhile, Indian Navy is also working to douse the fire.
