Four candidates likely to file nomination for Nepal's Vice President's post

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Four candidates from nepal's three major political parties will submit their nomination papers for the post of vice-president on Saturday, for which elections will be held on March 17. Assistant Election Officer Amrita Kumari Sharma said that the nomination papers will be submitted from 9 am to 2 pm at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwar, Kathmandu. Like the president, the vice president is elected by an electoral vote composed of members of the federal parliament (House of Representatives and national assembly) and provincial assemblies.
